Presidents'
Message
It is
our sincere pleasure and honor to take on this extremely
important leadership role. We both value the members of this
chapter as well as other Delta Gamma’s we have met throughout
our lives. In the few conversations we have had, it is clear we
both share many of the same beliefs and qualities. One thing we
share is the belief that Delta Gamma has, in so many ways,
helped enrich both of our lives.
After
moving herself to Southern California from New York, Delta Gamma
helped Joyce make friends and settle down so that California
became her home. Delta Gamma has continually been a focal point
for new and evolving friendships for Lisa. It’s truly amazing
how the women of Delta Gamma are more than friends, but family
we care so much about. We hope that by sharing this experience
together we will develop a lasting and strong friendship,
proving once again that there is more to sisterhood than just
four years in college.
We
both believe it is important to offer interesting and exciting
topics for our meetings. We are so thrilled about the activities
and events we have planned for the year ahead. We would love to
see new faces at the meetings. So, please make this your year to
get involved and be part of our wonderful organization in the
South Bay Alumnae Chapter!
We want to give a special thank you to our outstanding board of
officers who have already been so supportive and helpful in the
transition. We appreciate the warm welcome as well as the words
of encouragement. We are so thankful for all of your hard work
and dedication.
We look forward to seeing and getting to know all of you during
our term!
