Leila Khalil is now a business owner! Lori Ford is owner of Gum Tree, a shop and café located in a historic craftsman bungalow at 238 Pier Avenue. The shop carries unique gifts, home accessories, jewelry, kids stuff and so much more. The café specializes in delicious fresh food for breakfast and lunch, and amazing coffee and tea all day. Everything is made from scratch, from the dressings to the soups, and ingredients are organic and locally sourced wherever possible. There is a private patio in back used for special events: baby showers, birthdays, bridal showers, you name it...(even DG Founders Day!). Catering is provided by the café, and gift registry is available in the shop.
